As part of extracurricular activities, the High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic" offers its students the opportunity to participate in a student exchange under the auspices of the European Nursing Module Network. The network was founded in 1994 with the aim of improving understanding and attitudes about the nursing profession, different healthcare systems and understanding the cultural, racial, historical and ethical differences between the different European nations from which exchange students come.
Students have access to 28 medical institutions within 14 member countries of the network, including higher medical schools in Italy, France, Great Britain, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Russia, as well as institutions in neighboring countries, Romania, Bulgaria and Macedonia. The goal of the student exchange program is the professional and personal development of students through familiarization with healthcare systems in European countries, promotion and tolerance of cultural and ideological differences.
High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic" has been a full member of the Network since 2011 and has hosted students from Spanish University of Rovira , Virgili in Tarragona, students from the Vitoria Gasteiz Alava School of Nursing in Vitoria, Spain, and students from the Swedish University in Erebro. The students visited our bases, including the Military Medical Academy, where they had the opportunity to learn about the ways and methods of care and provision of healthcare in our country. Also, they got to know Serbian culture and customs, gained new acquaintances and positive experiences.
Since 2014, the High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milanković" has been a signatory to bilateral memorandums of cooperation with the College of Medicine for Nurses and Midwives of the University of Brighton, Great Britain and the College of Medicine in Bitola, Macedonia.
